It could have been a minute. It could have been an hour but it wouldn’t be last call without those hazy eyes around. So I stand up like I’m just standing up for the first time to give you a hug and you give me a ride. I’ve got a voice stuck in my head that relishes in where I’ve failed. I’ve got a heart that’s beating still for all the places that I’ve left. So I open my eyes like I’ve opened my eyes for the first time and my head doesn’t feel quite right.
